I’m originally from Athens, Greece, and my journey into travel began later in life. I’ve developed a deep appreciation for Italian culture and landscapes, having explored several cities across Italy on two memorable trips. With a background in hospitality, tourism, and yachting, I’ve spent about nine years in the tourism industry.
At Unforgettable Travel, I work as a Travel Coordinator, dedicated to preparing clients for their trips and ensuring every detail of their journey is flawlessly executed. Outside of work, If I cannot travel, I have a passion for ceramics, enjoy Pilates, and love exploring nature and the local cuisine.

Where are your favorite places to visit in Greece?
It’s funny – every time I explore a new place in Greece, it instantly becomes my favorite!
My first love is Pelion, a place I dream of living in one day. Nestled in southeastern Thessaly in northern Greece, Pelion is a protected ‘Natura 2000’ area renowned for its exceptional natural beauty, with fresh mountain air, crystal-clear waters, and charming villages. It’s only a 30-minute drive from the vibrant city of Volos.
As for the islands, if I had to pick a gem, it would be Kimolos. This small yet enchanting island lies in the western Cyclades, next to Milos, and is known for its stunning sandy and pebbly beaches and serene coves. Spending just three nights here is enough to befriend the locals and experience the warmth of island life.

My Top Greece Travel Tips
- Do a little research beforehand and set the right expectations regarding the weather (high temperatures, windy seasons), the land morphology and the difficulty level of activities.
- Be open to discovering Greece beyond the shoulder season.
- Refrain from comparison to other countries/destinations. No matter how experienced we are in traveling, every place within its uniqueness has its own charm and we can only enjoy it to the fullest if we allow ourselves to be open.
- When planning your trip to Greece, of course, keep your must-do list but choose to spend more time in the lesser-known destinations and you will be surprised!
