        Kastro Sifnos

        With a day of leisure, you might ask our travel specialists to book a ceramic workshop – you can even make your own piece of pottery. Or, wander through Kastro. The island’s capital is like an open-air museum. Admire the whitewashed Church of the Seven Martyrs, dramatically perched on a rocky islet just above the entrance to the medieval settlement, and stroll the maze of alleyways to discover hidden courtyards, Roman sarcophagi, and old homes enhanced by ancient marble pieces. Stop for a sweet treat like amydalota (almond treats) or melopita (a honey pie similar to a crustless cheesecake). Or visit the traditional village of Artemonas and the picturesque town of Apollonia.

Once in the ancient Neolithic town, discover its rich history through landmarks like the Venetian castle and Church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Church of 100 Doors), dating all the way back to the 4th century AD.         High-speed Ferry Tinos + Private Transfer to Tinos Hotel

        Leaving Paros, a private transfer brings you to the port to catch your ferry to Tinos, a much less developed island than many of its neighbors, with peaceful beaches, rich traditions, and an authentic Greek island food scene. It’s centered on local Cycladic ingredients such as cheeses, artichokes, and seafood. After taking a private transfer from the port upon arrival, checking into your upscale accommodation, and settling in, we highly recommend trying one of the local specialties. If you like artichokes, you’ll love the traditional artichoke pie, but you’ll also find fresh seafood, local meats, and spoon sweets featuring the island’s famous mastic and thyme honey.

Alternatively, consider learning more about the island’s wine by visiting a local boutique winery for a tasting that can be complemented by local island products and enjoyed with a beautiful Aegean view.

        Checking out of your hotel in Tinos, our driver will meet you for the private transfer to Tinos Port, where you’ll catch the ferry to Piraeus Port, less than a 30-minute drive from your hotel on the Athenian Riviera.
