Welcome to Athens! Your Greek honeymoon kicks off in the birthplace of western civilization. You’ll be met with a private transfer upon your arrival into Athens International Airport for the drive to your hotel in the Greek capital. After checking in, relax after a long flight or stretch your legs by getting a preview of the city. Sip some strong Greek coffee at a sidewalk café and then you might take an energizing hike up Philopappos Hill, passing multiple historic sites. If you time it right, you’ll be able to take in a spectacular view of a colorful sunset over the city at the top.

Your private driver will meet you at your Athens hotel to bring you to the harbor for your ferry to Milos. Take a private transfer to your accommodation here with the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. Milos is famous for its incredible landscapes in striking hues of greens and blues, with a diverse array of impressive beaches, from white sandy stretches to colorful pebbly shores. This is also the island where the Venus de Milo statue was discovered, home to many interesting historic sites, including an ancient Roman theater. Relax this evening as you’ll have a full day tour tomorrow.

This private half-day tour will bring you around Milos to discover its beauty as you explore the highlights and learn all about its culture and history. Your expert local guide will bring you to see Papafragkas, a sea cave with a tiny beach hidden inside its walls. It was once used as a hideout for pirates, and it opens up to a long, narrow fjord with crystal-clear water for swimming. You’ll have time on Sarakiniko Beach, known for its chalk white lunar-like landscape that looks as if it was created for a sci-fi film, and visit Trypiti where the Venus de Milo statue was found. Witness ruins like an ancient theater, wander through the colorful fishing village of Klima and picturesque alleyways in Plaka, the capital.

You’ll have the day to yourself to relax or take advantage of the many things to do on Milos. Just a few of the options including taking a boat tour for a perspective of the island from the water, including time to swim in caves. Or visit one of the many natural hot springs to soak while surrounded by the breathtaking scenery. There’s a spa in Adamas where you can enjoy the Lakkos baths for an especially unforgettable, unique soak inside of a cave, with the warm, soothing water ranging from about 95 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit/35 to 41 Celsius.

Catch a ferry this morning, this time to Santorini, one of the most popular islands in the world among honeymooners and other romance-seekers. Upon your arrival, you’ll be met by your private driver for transfer to your hotel where you can enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. You’ll find many shops, cafes, and bars along the cobbled streets in the capital, Fira, set right along the edge of the caldera. The views are breathtaking – you might relax with some island wine and enjoy them or explore the Historical and Cultural Archaeological Museum to learn about the island’s history.

Food and wine enthusiasts will be thrilled with today’s tour. You’ll get to sample island’s crisp volcanic wines at a winery before learning how to prepare delicious island cuisine in a hands-on cooking class. Of course, you can dig into the results of the fresh-cooked meal you helped to prepare afterwards. At the conclusion of your cooking/tasting experience you’ll be given a booklet that includes the recipes you helped make. This ideal souvenir is an especially useful one, allowing you to bring home some of Santorini’s goodness, cooking dishes for your friends and family to share the island flavors you enjoyed here.

On your last full day in Santorini, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a relaxing day further exploring Oia and Fira with perhaps some last minute shopping. In the afternoon our guide will pick you up from your hotels for a semi-private sunset sailing cruise along the cliffs on Santorini. Whilst on the luxury catamaran you will get to visit the red and white beaches of Santorini, the Venetian Lighthouse and more. The boat is fitted with swimming and snorkelling equipment for you to enjoy a couple of swimming stops. Back on board you will enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ meal with drinks as you enjoy a truly spectacular sunset.
