About Nafsimedon Hotel
Overview
Set within a 19th-century neoclassical mansion, Nafsimedon has had a number of incarnations, initially as a private clinic, followed by a maternity hospital, private residence, and town planning offices, before being converted into Nafplio’s first traditional hotel. It will not only take you back to another time with its architecture and furnishings, but it offers a garden and view of Kolokotronis Park. The relaxed setting makes it a perfect place to rest and recharge, just a two-minute walk from the oldest part of the city, Acronauplia, and only about a third of a mile from Paralia Arvantiias beach. The elegant rooms are filled with antique furniture but come with modern conveniences like Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. A traditional breakfast with local ingredients is served in the garden or dining hall.
