One of the newer luxury boutique hotels in Chania, Domus Renier is a mix of old and new, housed within a gorgeous 16th-century building while offering chic, modern features located near the old Venetian Arsenal along the harborfront. This intimate hotel has just nine rooms, spread across three floors and all named after various members of the Renier family, the former owners of the building. If you’re looking for lots of room to stretch out along with luxurious perks, book the huge loft-style master suite which has a mezzanine bedroom, a terrace with a panoramic sea view and a hot tub. All rooms have historic touches and modern amenities, like lampshades with antique lace, touch panel lighting and electronic blackout curtains. While there are multiple restaurants just steps away, a complimentary breakfast is served in the picturesque courtyard, filled with exotic greenery and a bubbling fountain. A limited room service menu is available as well throughout the day.
