An Unforgettable Time!

My husband and I have never been on a cruise before but we needed to find a way to get back to Dubrovnik from Split but we also wanted to explore the Dalmatian Coast and Islands. Due to the end of the season, it was hard to find a tour that fit our tight schedule, but then I found Unforgettable Croatia (U.C).
I sent an inquiry to them about the tour and they got back to be promptly. The communication with U.C. was a breeze. They answered all my questions and had great communication with navigating the challenges with COVID.

On the date of arrival, getting to the boat was a first class. They picked us up from the rental car company drop off, the driver took us straight up to the boat, we were greeted by a representative who took our bags and checked them while we still had some time before we could board. Our ship was the MV Markan and Petar was our Captain. He was really sincere and we enjoyed his company.

Once boarding we were shown to our room which was really spacious and stylish. The ship was only 3 years old and was absolutely beautiful. Very nice finishes, a hot tub on the sun deck and lots of outdoor seating areas.

During the trip, our Cruise Director Biljana was absolutely amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. We really loved getting to know her and all about the Croatian history and culture. The staff aboard was also wonderful. Shout out to our bartenders/dining room servers Christian and Tina.

We had a wonderful time at each of the ports we went to. Due to the end of the season, weather played a factor and we couldn’t stick to some of the originally planned activities but the U.C. team found a way to make up for that. We loved swimming in the warm waters of the Adriatic, going to local wineries, walking around the quite streets at night and visiting local restaurants – Biljana had some great recommendations.

All the guests on board were super sweet and because it was a small boat, we really got to know each other. Some of these people felt like family saying goodbye to them at the end.

I would 100% recommend U.C. to friends and family and would book with them in the future.
