Ionian Island Hopping

Travel to the top Ionian isles, including Corfu, just west of the Greek mainland, the greenest in the country and a nature lover’s paradise with breathtaking sandy beaches, mountains, cascading waterfalls, and bird-filled lagoons. You’ll head to Kefalonia, famously spotlighted in “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin,” home to wild horses, chalk white beaches framed by pine forests and calm, cobalt waters, and Zante, with its iconic “Shipwreck Beach” set in an enchanting cove, featured in countless ads and postcards. Finally, journey to Lefkada, barely touched by tourism, it offers an especially tranquil feel, secluded bays, idyllic beaches, and a world-renowned kitesurfing and windsurfing scene.

Sporades Island Hopping

Just a couple of hours by ferry from Athens, the Sporades are one of the least-visited island groups in the Mediterranean. Remarkably verdant, just a few are inhabited, including Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisso. They all offer many magnificent beaches lapped by striking clear turquoise waters and aromatic pine-covered hills. Skiathos is often referred to as the “Mykonos of the Sporades” with its buzzing nightlife scene, while Skopelos is home to monk seals, numerous archaeological sites, monasteries and some 360 churches. Alonissos is ideal for solitude and boasts a national marine park that serves as a refuge for monk seals, dolphins and rare sea birds.

Dodecanese Island Hopping

Located in the southeastern Aegean Sea, island-hopping in the Dodecanese will bring you to Rhodes, one of the largest islands in the archipelago, a standout for history buffs with medieval Rhodes Town home to one of the most well-preserved Venetian historic centers in Europe. The ancient Acropolis of Lindos, one of the most visited archaeological sites in Greece is found here too. The tranquil island of Symi is especially atmospheric, providing an authentic Greek island experience with magnificent views and a traditional village that looks like a painting. Kos offers it all, including picturesque sandy beaches and palm trees, lively nightlife, and historic sights.
