Cabins
Elysium’s 25 cabins are available in five different categories, including double, triple, and interconnecting family cabins, all of which have windows or portholes. Bedding configurations include twin- or queen-size beds with plush mattresses, cozy all-season duvets, and pillow menus to ensure the most peaceful night’s sleep. Each one is ensuite, with comfortable bathrooms that have showers, lavish organic toiletries, plush towels, hairdryers, spa robes, and slippers. Other highlights when it comes to amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV with movies as well as a news and bridge channel, music, Wi-Fi, a personal safe, minibar, beach towels, and an internal-use phone.
Reception Area
The Reception Area is where you’ll be welcomed with a smile and find a number of amenities that you’re sure to enjoy throughout your cruise. It includes two check-in desks that make it quick and easy to board the ship and enjoy your refreshing welcome drink. This is also where you’ll find the coffee station that’s open 24/7, loaded with complimentary tea and coffee to keep you fueled for the journey. The Elixir Boutique is located here as well, ideal for picking up gifts and other items, along with the library cabinet, filled with board games and books for your enjoyment.
Phos Wellness Deck
As a ship dedicated to wellness, learning, and fun, the Elysium offers the Phos Wellness Deck where guests can enjoy basking in the sunshine on one of the comfy loungers among the fresh, salty sea air, soaking in the Jacuzzi while gazing up at the endless canopy of stars, morning and sunset yoga sessions, meditation, and Pilates classes. In the summer, evenings are wonderful here, lounging on the large slumber sofa under the full moon, but Phos is an inviting place to be day or night.
Thalassa Main Deck & Bar
During the day, the Thalassa Main Deck & Bar is the place to be. Enjoy mingling with your fellow passengers by sipping a glass of wine, cocktail, or beer. Or simply relax, perhaps digging into a good book beneath the shade of the sails allowing the sea breeze to gently touch your skin. This is also where alfresco meals are served with the bar offering an all-day menu with a variety of food and drink. Socializing here on cruise evenings is popular, with music setting a perfect mood for discussing the memorable events of the day.
Interior Lounge
If inclement weather hits or you just want a change from the outdoors, the Interior Lounge provides an ideal alternative for socializing and relaxing. It includes two 65” TV screens for watching movies and sits up to 40 guests. It’s also possible to enjoy a drink, bite to eat, and participate in one of the educational seminars here.
On board dining
There is a wide range of dining experiences available on the Elysium. The Thalassa Bar offers all-day dining, with dishes that can be enjoyed anywhere on the ship, indoors or out. There will be everything from a la carte meals to sumptuous buffets, multicourse menus, special themed dinners, and even meat or fish BBQs. Dining is a highlight for many passengers on our Unforgettable ships as our talented chefs create meals based on farm-to-table ingredients, often locally purchased in the destinations you’ll be visiting on your cruise. Plus, there will be tasty finger foods and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the day.
Gemaya Spa & Gym
Elysium hosts a dedicated spa suite, the Gemaya Spa, which offers both beauty and wellness services. Enjoy pampering signature treatments and healing rituals from across the globe, provided by our expert resident spa therapist, as well as manicures and pedicures, or even hair-styling and other services upon request. It’s easy to keep up with your exercise routine as well, with Pilates, yoga, and meditation sessions available, plus there’s a mini gym for private workouts.
Activities On Board
There are many opportunities for activities both onboard and off. You’ll be able to make your adventure as relaxed or as active as you wish. There’s a platform that makes it easy to leap into crystal-clear blue bays during swim stops, snorkel gear if you want to gaze at the incredible underwater world, and a number of unique options too. You might fish with the locals, take a cooking class, learn a new craft, or embark on a photography walk, just to name a few. With the brilliant starry skies at sea after dark, stargazing is always popular too.
Crew
We have a professional English-speaking team on board the Elysium. Each member has been hand-selected and is dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of every guest. The staff includes the main crew, a cruise director, hotel manager, spa therapist, resident wellness and yoga coach, and even visiting experts like archaeologists on select themed cruises. With cruises limited to a small group, the crew is able to provide the utmost in personalized service. They’ll be happy to answer questions about the places you’re visiting and provide plenty of insider tips thanks to their extensive local knowledge, passion for Greece, and all things travel.
