    Your Cruise Itinerary

    Day 1 Arrival in Athens

    Athens

Your 9-day adventure begins with arrival at Athens International Airport where your driver will be waiting to welcome you. You’ll be transferred to your 4-star accommodation in the city center and after getting settled in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or do some exploring. If after a long flight you’re in need of some indulgence, there are many hammams to visit in the city. Or you might enjoy a glass of Greek wine while people-watching from one of the enticing cafes. If you still have energy, the Psiri neighborhood is the perfect place to sample the authentic nightlife.

Day 2 Athens: Private Highlights Walking Tour. Departure to Poros

Acropolis Hill, Parthenon, Athens, Greece. Odeon Herodes Atticus.

Your day begins with the Private Highlights Walking Tour, ascending Acropolis Hill where the stories behind iconic landmarks like the Temple of Athena Nike and the Parthenon will be revealed. Get up close to monuments that most only see on-screen and in textbooks before exploring one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, Plaka. It sits under the shadow of the Acropolis and includes many archaeological sites. After your tour, you’ll be transferred to the ship at Marina Zeas. Check-in is from 2 to 3 pm with departure to Poros. Enjoy a few hours to explore independently before we sail on toward Poliegos.

        Day 3 Poliegos - Folegandros

        Folegandros

Look forward to a leisurely morning in Sifnos, sometimes referred to as the “perfect Greek Island,” fringed with sandy beaches and home to 365 churches, one for every day of the year. Relax onboard, head to one of the beautiful beaches, or join an optional excursion to explore the island with a local guide. Afterward, we cruise on toward Kimolos, one of the most picturesque islands in the Cyclades. Enjoy a swim stop before we arrive with the evening yours to dine in one of the local restaurants. The town of Chorio offers enticing options just a short walk from the port.

          Day 4 Santorini

          Santorini, Greece

One of the most popular Greek islands is our next destination. We’ll arrive this morning with a visit to Santorini’s unique capital so that you can explore its many delights, including impressive museums like the Prehistoric Thera Museum which houses valuable finds from the island’s archaeological sites, including Akrotiri. An optional excursion can bring you to this ancient settlement that dates back to 1600 BC when the massive volcanic eruption covered it in ash, keeping it well preserved similar to Pompeii. After touring, you’ll visit charming villages, including Oia, renowned for its whitewashed homes and blue-domed churches that spill down the dramatic caldera.

            Day 5 Antiparos - Paros

            Paros, Greece

Cruising onto the island of Antiparos, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue waters, you’ll enjoy a memorable swim stop in one of the secluded bays. Arriving at our overnight destination, Paros, at noon, you’ll have time for a leisurely stroll through its labyrinth of marble-paved streets on your own. Take advantage of the many photo-ops, including postcard-perfect Cycladic homes, and then visit the fishing village of Naoussa, one of the prettiest in the Cyclades with tiny churches and whitewashed homes brightened with flowers before heading back on board the ship to enjoy our famous Greek night with dinner and dancing.

              Day 6 Delos - Mykonos

              Day trip to Delos

While we’re heading to Mykonos today, we’ll stop at the island of Delos first. This sacred isle and UNESCO-listed site is home to some of the most extensive ruins dating from the 5th– to 4th century BC. An optional excursion will bring these ancient sites to life, including impeccably preserved Venetian and Byzantine architecture, a theater, temples, mosaics, statues, and more. Mykonos is a quick cruise away and before our arrival, you’ll enjoy a swim stop. Once there, the rest of the day is yours to explore, sample the eats in one of the many world-class restaurants, and perhaps delve into the famous nightlife.

                Day 7 Syros

                Ermoupoli town, Syros Island, Greece.

This morning you’ll enjoy a swim stop as we continue to Syros, an island known for its whitewashed homes, neoclassical buildings, colorful mansions, imposing churches, and alluring squares. Incredibly photogenic, it’s fun getting lost among its meandering streets. Highlights include historic Miaouli Square and the Town Hall, one of the most striking in Greece. You’ll have time to wander through town on your own or you might head to one of the pretty sandy and pebbly beaches. Afterward, pop into one of the many tavernas to enjoy the local eats with lots of traditional dishes on the menu.

Day 8 Kythnos - Marina Zeas

                  Kythnos, Greece

Our final full day takes us to Kolones bay off the shores of Kythnos Island for one last swim stop. Soak up the scenery from the cobalt waters of this unspoiled isle before we start cruising back to Marina Keas. En route, we’ll visit Cape Sounion so that you can capture a photo of the majestic Temple of Poseidon, a Doric-style temple strategically built atop a headland overlooking the Aegean. Finally, we anchor in Marina Keas overnight with the evening a perfect time to exchange photos and perhaps contact information with fellow passengers who’ve become new friends.

                    Day 9 Departure

                    Athens, Greece

The most difficult part of the journey has arrived, time for goodbyes.
